RC Cars

In the RC Cars world, there are two types. Those that are fuel by electric and those that are fuel by gas. Electric RC Cars are easier to maintain, cheaper to run and are much quieter. The Electric RC Cars are quite often the best choice for the beginner in the RC Cars world. But do you want to be sensible or do you want to have fun? Now I'm not saying you can't have fun with Electric RC Cars, you most definitely can.
 

If you're into putting together your own car, the electric RC Cars are quite easy to get together and working. Electric motors are generally very simple to fit and to work on. This can be a huge advantage of electric RC Cars. Also, as gas prices are rising lately, electric RC Cars are looking even better, even though gas powered cars don't generally use all THAT much gas.
 

On the other hand, gas powered RC Cars require some more work than their counterparts, but they have quite a few advantages. Some of these include having the real sounding engine. The sound of a gas powered RC Car is so much more pleasant. You actually get to hear it and feel the power of your RC Cars as they hurtle around. Also, in general gas powered RC Cars come with a lot more power than the electric models.
 

There are advantages to both types of cars and it is really going to depend on what you want from it. If it's your first step into the world of RC Cars, I personally would recommend an electric car, because of their easy maintenance and ease of use. That isn't to say you can't go for a gas car for your first, I'm sure you'll have great fun with either.
